Project 1923 is a townhouse in DC that is going under an eco-remodel by PazzoVerde.  Originally planned to be a LEED Certified project, every aspect of the home has been evaluated for potential greening opportunities.

Cost restrictions will not allow for LEED certification, but we will follow all guidelines for LEED, minus the third party verifications.  We will be posting every step of our project, the good, the bad, and the ugly,  for you to enjoy.

Throughout this project, you will be apprised of our thoughts and decisions as we green up this space! You will get to meet the people we meet, see the materials we use, and learn a little more about Green Design.

Thanks for looking and please, keep in touch.  We welcome all suggestions and criticisms...so long as they are clean and constructive .

Stay tuned,

Topher Paterno, LEED Green Associate

Welcome to Project 1923!

I've been recently wondering about the identical issue personally lately. Pleased to see a person on the same wavelength! Nice article.

Last year, my family and I moved from Venice, California to Washington DC. In addition to running Pazzo Verde, I'm remodeling a Georgetown townhouse and committed to using sustainable and eco-friendly building and design practices every step of the way.
